Philly Bike Events Calendar

A handsome red fox slips into the tree line on MLK Drive. A glittering skyline floats over the river as a rave unravels in a cotton candy sky - chimney swifts swarm in a dance that took millennia to choreograph. Today’s ride featured two swim breaks and I’m looking forward to pedaling to the shore next weekend. Tomorrow will be an easier day though, we’re just riding to South Philly to catch the Phillies. Sure, it’s almost 9 o’clock and I should be getting home, but I ease my cadence to relish the magic of a fleeting summer’s evening. These are just some of my summertime favorites.

• PAPERtrail Mountain Espresso | Mountain bike loop in Wissahickon Valley Park. Dates alternate.

Sunday

• Coffee Outside | Coffee and bikes. 9:30am.
• Sunday Funday Gravel | Philly Gravel Club. Intermediate no-drop gravel. Dates alternate.
• Coffee Outside NJ | Bikes and coffee at Cooper River Park. First Sunday of the month.
• Hot Laps | Phixed Friday. Fast paced fixed gear peloton at the Navy Yard.
• Solidarity Ride Series | 10 miles protesting genocide in Palestine, all welcome. First Sunday of the month.

Last Saturday and first Sunday of each month: PMA Bike Ride | Feed Philly's hungry by bike. Volunteers and donations needed.

June 15 | Pride Ride | Queering Philly and Philly Bike Oracle. All-abilities ride for queer cyclists with post-ride picnic.
June 21-22 | Swift Campout | RAR x Keystone Bicycle Co. Ride to camp site in Evansburg State Park. Registration proceeds benefit RAR programming.
